A poem read as part of the wedding ceremony by proud father & father-in-law to be (Harry):
TO MATT & SARAH

What a special wedding in such a special place.
And two very special people stand face to face.
How do you two dare make this commitment, take this chance?
Let's face it, none of your parents before you excelled at this dance.
Yet we're all here believing that our children will succeed.
We believe you've each found a partner to fulfill every need.

Sarah, let's not pretend Matt's perfect, but he is my son.
And if I had all the sons in the world to pick from, he'd be the one.
And Matt I'll warn you, Sarah will change 'cause all wives do.
But through every change, my bet is she'll still love you.
And Matt you've learned from me and really saw the light.
I'm glad it didn't take you 3 tries to find your "Miss Right".

What's Success in marriage?  You have a new house and new car.
But that's not it, success is loving each other for who you are.
We pray that fifty years from now this one thing is true,
That you'll both still treasure this special moment when you say, "I Do".

                                                  Love, Dad
